This Privacy Policy informs you about the personal data collected on gingr.ch, how it is used and what rights you have.

We process your data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data Protection Officer

G-IT AG has appointed a Data Protection Officer. Enquiries regarding the processing of your data, your rights or requests for information can be sent to privacy@gingr.ch.

Server log files

Every time gingr.ch is accessed, certain technical information is automatically recorded. This includes the IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser type, operating system and referrer.

This data is used to ensure the secure operation of the platform, to analyse errors and to defend against attacks. It is only evaluated statistically. An evaluation related to a specific person takes place only when there are concrete indications of misuse.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure operation of the platform.

Registration data

Depending on the role, gingr.ch collects different data for the use of the platform. For users, this typically includes name, email address, password hash and a username.

For escorts, additional information is collected that is necessary for the profile and for handling enquiries. This includes photos, videos, prices, services, availability and contact options.

The legal basis is the performance of the platform contract.

Identity verification (KYC)

Profiles with the label Verified, Age Verified or Content Verified undergo an identity check carried out by a certified KYC partner. An official identity document and biometric comparison data are processed in this context.

Your identity document is used exclusively for verification purposes. The data is not stored in the United States.

The legal basis is the performance of the platform contract and our statutory obligation regarding the prevention of money laundering.

Bookings and payments

For bookings with the label Secure Booking, gingr.ch processes booking and payment data. This includes the date, duration, services selected, price and chosen payment method.

Payment processing is handled by licensed financial service providers. Card details are not stored on our servers. For cryptocurrency, we use NowPayments.

If the booking takes place outside the platform, gingr.ch does not process any payment data. In that case, settlement takes place directly between you and the escort.

Chat and communication

When you use the chat feature on gingr.ch, the messages exchanged are stored. They support the handling of bookings, customer support and the protection of all parties in the event of a dispute.

The chat remains accessible after a booking. Individual messages can only be deleted to a limited extent, for reasons of evidence preservation.

Support contacts

When you contact us via email, chat or phone, we process the data provided in order to respond to your enquiry.

Phone calls may be recorded for quality and training purposes. You are informed about this before the conversation begins.

Reviews and ratings

Reviews published on gingr.ch originate exclusively from bookings actually completed via the platform. They are displayed publicly on the escort's profile and do not contain any personal contact details.

Cookies and similar technologies

gingr.ch uses cookies and comparable technologies to operate the platform, improve content and analyse usage.

Your consent is managed via our consent management tool. You can adjust or withdraw your preferences at any time via the Cookie icon at the bottom of the screen.

Essential technologies

These technologies are required for gingr.ch to function technically. They are loaded without your consent.

They include, among others, the consent management tool, session and security cookies, the content delivery network and error monitoring.

Functional technologies

Retention period

We only keep your data for as long as it is needed for the purposes stated or as long as statutory retention periods require.

User and profile data is stored for the duration of your membership and deleted after termination within the statutory periods.

KYC and AML-relevant data is kept, in accordance with legal requirements, for at least ten years after the end of the business relationship.

Booking and payment data is archived for ten years in accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations.

Server log files are deleted after a maximum of 90 days, unless a security incident requires longer retention.

Your rights

You have the right at any time to obtain information about the data we hold about you. You may request the correction of inaccurate data as well as, under the conditions provided by law, the deletion or restriction of processing.

You have the right to data portability and the right to object at any time to the processing of your data for direct marketing purposes.

You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future.

Right of complaint

If you consider that we are not processing your data in accordance with applicable law, you may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

Data security

gingr.ch uses technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

These include encryption of data transmission, access restrictions, regular security reviews and training of our staff.

Absolute security cannot be guaranteed when data is transmitted over the Internet.

We may adapt this Privacy Policy if legal requirements or the platform change.

We will communicate significant changes in good time before they take effect, usually by email or through a notice on the platform.
